Company History

Everest is a pioneer of online multi-lingual gaming.
Since 1997, Everest Gaming has been giving players from around the world a top-notch online gaming experience. Our two flagship casinos — Casino Fantasy and Casino Treasure — debuted in 7 languages, making us one of the first multi-lingual online gaming companies in the world. A year later, we launched Casino Lux and Imperial Casino and expanded our casino language offerings to include four more languages.
As our casino offerings continued to grow, we changed our name from Grand Virtual to Ultra Internet Media in 2004, coinciding with the launch of Everest Poker. Everest Poker led the way as excitement for poker spread beyond the United States into Europe and across the globe. We were the world’s first multi-national, multi-lingual Texas Hold’em poker destination. Online poker players could experience the excitement of multi-player poker in seven languages — Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish.
The following year, we launched fully-translated poker rooms into the Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and Portuguese markets. We also held our first Everest Poker European Cup, which was met with great success.
Everest is the pinnacle of online entertainment. In 2006, we expanded upon the success of Everest Poker by launching Everest Casino, a truly world-class online gaming destination featuring hundreds of the most popular casino games. With growing worldwide attention around Everest Poker and Everest Casino, we decided to change our name in 2008 to Everest Gaming.
Today, Everest Gaming is an industry leader known for its commitment to creating the most localized online gaming environment worthy of our players’ trust and our global reputation.
